As a Programmatic Trader working within our Enablement team, you’ll be a key part of both leading and supporting digital marketing campaigns across all programmatic channels for our diverse client base. You will be responsible for managing the delivery of day-to-day programmatic campaigns to our customers and for the activation and strategy work for all clients.
The role requires technical know-how, strategic thinking, and a hands-on approach to our clients’ programmatic campaigns. Role Summary
- Plan, activate and optimize media campaigns.
- Build & maintain relationships with vendor partners, technology suppliers & publishers to ensure we stay ahead of the curve.
- Manage a portfolio of clients’ programmatic campaigns, both as a leader and supporting larger advertiser campaigns
- Deliver campaign briefs from strategy and planning through to implementation and optimization
- Own the day-to-day delivery of programmatic work against customer objectives
- Analysis of data across multiple tools to report on the performance of Junior Programmatic members and identify new opportunities
- Mentor and tutor junior members of the team, for example with technical training on an ad platform
- Proactively spot opportunities for growth of enablement customer set
- Support senior team members with strategy development
- Define optimization strategies for customers
- Own senior client stakeholder relationships

- Understand and be able to explain best practice set-up requirements for relevant programmatic platforms and influence best practice sharing across squads
- Lead meetings and communication around day-to-day delivery for clients
- Deeper understanding of analytics platforms and tagging setup
- Identify knowledge gaps and effectively plan solutions
- Regularly adds value with customers, even with little exposure, and looks for ways to deliver value above and beyond the normal scope of their role
- Demonstrate more than technical competency, for example, commercial awareness, or project management skills
- Able to confidently build campaigns across multiple programmatic platforms
- Able to demonstrate proficiency in customer management and delivery/optimization/analysis/reporting across platforms
- Continue to develop and utilize a specialism, such as in ad platforms or industries, both in strategy and planning alongside knowledge sharing
- Maintain technical ability within ad platforms to step in to support the delivery of customer work
- Uses industry knowledge and expertise (from our business but also 3rd parties) to solution find and inspire clients
Experience
- Ideally 3+ years' experience in a role using different DSPs (especially DV360 & Amazon DSP) and ad servers like campaign manager.
- Hands-on experience planning, setting and activating programmatic campaigns across different channels like programmatic and direct display, video, YouTube, audio & DOOH buys.
- Interest and knowledge about the latest programmatic trends.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Experience selling, planning & buying offline media buying a benefit - e.g. linear TV, OOH, Cinema, radio, etc
- Proven client service experience and running large scale & international accounts
- Experience in supporting and training junior team members is desirable
